Description

Route description: From the parking lot at the sawmill in the Steeg district of Prenten. The trail runs along a leisurely, not too steep, alpine goods road past the idyllic mountain settlement of Birchetsgump. At the last two small wooden huts on the right-hand side, you can take the old Bockbach path as an alternative to the asphalt path, which first leads you along a small path through beautiful flower meadows, past a small lake and further along the imposing rocks until you reach the Bockbach stream at the end of the path. From there, walk back up to the goods road and continue past the Bockbacher Almwirtschaft and follow the gravel path to the right to Gams Vroni.
Walking time: approx. 1 hour 20 minutes.
