Experience an unforgettable round tour that takes you through breathtaking landscapes and to the most beautiful viewpoints in the Rofan mountains. The combination of biking and hiking offers you diverse impressions and fantastic nature experiences.

With the BIKE on MTB Route No. 357 + No. 332

The starting point of this tour is in Kramsach, at the parking lot of the former Sonnwendjochbahn. From here, the bike route impressively leads you up to the Bayreuther Hütte at 1,570 meters. Along the way, you will pass special places such as the "Kaltes Wasserl" spring and the powerful "Herrgottstein" site. After about 1,000 meters of elevation gain, you will finally reach the Bayreuther Hütte, where you will leave your bike - now the hiking part begins!

With the e-bike, approximately 1.5 hours for 8 km and 1,030 meters of elevation gain.

HIKE

From the Bayreuther Hütte, the hiking trail first leads upwards towards the Zireiner Almen. Passing the Zireiner Almen on the left, the path continues straight towards the Zireiner See. Shortly before the lake, you leave the Latschberg to your right and follow the trail straight to the junction that leads you to the Zireiner See at 1,800 meters – an ideal spot to take a well-deserved break and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

The last part of the hike takes you further towards the summit of Roßkogel at 1,940 meters. The ascent is rewarded with a fantastic view before you retrace your steps back and then descend left towards the Zireiner Almen and Bayreuther Hütte.

For the hike, plan approximately 3 hours for 8.5 km and 500 meters of elevation gain.

After the hike, you can refresh yourself at the Bayreuther Hütte or in the valley at the Liftstüberl Kramsach.
