Description

Description:

The bike route leads along beautiful views into nature and the mountain world to the Buron hut and further to the Alpe Stubental. Mostly well-maintained paths, but also some more challenging climbs are included.

Anyone who wants to experience the view with a sporty mountain biking activity is definitely right here.

Directions:

The start is the parking lot of the Jungholz ski lifts. On the main road we ride down to the intersection at the Wertach quarry. After a short road crossing, we follow the gravel path towards Wertach alongside the main road. Shortly after, we turn right onto a small road towards Vorderreute. Just before the village entrance, we turn left onto a gravel path and continue to Hinterreute and then quite a bit steeper uphill to the Buron hut.

Then we continue down past the Haslacher Alps to the right turnoff towards Stubental Alpe. On the forest road up to a ravine path, there are still a few climbs to overcome. The ravine path is short and manageable. Afterwards, it's easy going to the Alpe Stubental. The descent to Jungholz is taken easily on the official asphalt road.
