Description

From Gasthof Skirast, the route leads along the Krinbergweg to the Ochsalm.  You cycle on an asphalt road as far as the Ochsalm. From there the route changes to a gravel path, in the direction of the Kaseralm, past the Gasthof Hochbrunn. From there the ascent becomes steeper in the direction of the Jufenalm up to the Pengelstein summit.
Once you reach the top, the first thing you see is the beautifully landscaped Brunnsee, which is used as a snowmaking lake in Winter.
Continue to the Usterkarsee and from here it’s downhill to the Alpine mountain huts, the so-called Usterkaralm. From there, the gravel road leads downhill into the valley. After the transition to the asphalt road, the "Gauxerstadl" hut lies ahead of us, where we can fortify ourselves.

The circular route runs in a clockwise direction.
