Description

Description:

The 3 practice routes of 500m each offer various descents with different challenges: The flowing PONTENLINE winds through the Mühlwald with numerous curves and waves. The ZIRLESECKLINE and ROHNENELINE are more technically demanding with roots and drops. All 3 trails start from the same point and merge again at the end. This allows beginners and advanced riders to bike together.

Directions:

Route number: 8021
The route starts at the height of the top station Mühlhanglift, at the starting point of the 3 MÜHLWALD-TRAILS, and ends in the area of the bottom station of the Mühlhanglift. The Pontenline is the main route of the trail area and winds through the forest with numerous curves and waves. The berms have a slight incline, and the changes in direction provide a flowing riding feeling for beginners and advanced riders. The Pontenline is exclusively designed for bikers.

Safety guidelines:
Please note that mountain biking involves an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, there is always a basic risk. Preparing for the route through endurance training, appropriate technical training, further education, and personal caution reduces the accident risk and hazards. But never forget that mountain weather can change very quickly. Stay on marked paths. Ride on the "safe side" in the Tannheimer Tal. In Austria, mountain biking is generally prohibited on all forest and hiking trails, except where explicitly permitted mountain bike routes exist. Entrances to forest roads are sometimes marked with driving bans and additional information such as "cycling prohibited." Hiking trails do not have these prohibition signs; nevertheless, riding on these paths is forbidden.Equipment:

The routes can be ridden with a regular MTB, which are also offered for rent in sports shops. Personal equipment must be safe, functional, and comply with the respective technical standard. Complete mountain bike equipment is highly recommended even for experienced riders! Helmets are mandatory!
