Description

This very varied cross-border tour leads from Pinswang via the historic Fürstenstraße to the Alpsee in Hohenschwangau. Here you have the opportunity to visit the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, as well as the museum of the Bavarian kings. We continue to Schwansee. After crossing the Lech in Füssen, the tour leads through Bad Faulenbach and on the Alatseestraße (driving ban for cars) further past the Mittersee and Obersee to the Alatsee. Optionally, a short, steep ascent leads from here to the Salober Alm. After a well-deserved stop, the route leads back to the Alatsee. Continue down to Vils via the Vilser Scharte. From there, the last section finally leads along the Vils and over the Lech back to the starting point at the municipal office in Pinswang.
