Description

Tschirgant tour starting at Ahornweg, following the Via Claudia Augusta to Nassereith.
 
Continue on R23 to the Mieminger Plateau. From Barwies to Mötz and back on the Inn Cycle Path R3 back to Imst.

The Tschirgant tour is an extensive circular tour and leads through the municipality of Imst via the Ahornweg on the Via Claudia Augusta through the idyllic Gurgltal valley to Nassereith. A scenic tour along the old Roman road. Continue on the signposted cycle path no. 23 on the resurfaced former state road to the Mieminger Plateau. From the district of Barwies, the route descends on cycle path 25 to Mötz to the Inn Cycle Path R3, which leads westwards along the Inn River through the Imst Gorge at the entrance to the Ötztaler Höhe back to the district capital of Imst.
