Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow, and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. It is necessary to carry a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without opportunities to stop for food.
From the Mure parking lot past the Schützenheim and further along Roßlachgasse until you reach the intersection of Alte Niederthaier Strasse. Then follow the wide hiking path to Niederthai.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Then travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your destination! The current bus schedule is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
