Description

The starting point of the easy hike is at the Mure parking lot in the village center of Umhausen. From there, you hike up through the village, continuing in the direction of Niederthai. At Bischoffsplatz, follow the signposted winter hiking trail towards Stuibenfall, passing the Ötzi Village and the bird of prey park (open only in summer) until you reach a bridge. Cross this bridge and you will already see the Stuböbele forest cafe. The sporty can turn right and reach the foot of the Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall. The hike continues past the Stuböbele forest cafe to the Steppsteig junction. Through the snow-covered forest, follow the winter hiking trail and enjoy the panorama of Umhausen. At the end of the path, follow the signs back to Umhausen and return to the starting point.
