Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow, and sun protection, cap, and gloves is required for all hikes and routes. Bringing a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a route map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without dining options, is necessary.
From the Mure parking lot, start towards the VIVEA Health Hotel and turn left before the cemetery. There, follow the paved path through the meadows until you reach the foot of the mountain. Then the path leads up in switchbacks to Farst and the Farst snack station. A fascinating panorama and warm hospitality are the reward for the effort of the ascent.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination by public transport or local taxi companies!
