Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing is required for all hikes and routes.
The place name Längenfeld is derived from the long meadows/fields. This winter hiking trail runs along these. The starting point is the sports center in Längenfeld. Following the street towards the campsite, you will shortly reach a junction (behind the ice rink). Following the path to the right leads to a small bridge where the deeply snow-covered path begins. The path runs straight past the hamlets of Dorf and Espan until reaching Au, which is the northernmost district of Längenfeld.
Travel comfortably and safely by train. The terminus or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel to your desired destination through the entire valley with public transport or local taxi companies. The current bus schedule is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
The following parking lots are available:
Sports Center Längenfeld - free
Parking lot between Winklen and Au (opposite Elektro Optimal) - free
