Description

From the district of Weißleiten in Ortisei, follow the asphalt road for a short distance before changing to a meadow / gravel path. At the fork in the road before the stream, keep to the left and hike in the direction of the Schießlingalm over wonderful forest and meadow passages at the foot of the Steinberge mountains. At the Schießlingalm, which is open to the public, you have covered most of the altitude difference of the tour and walk partly on gravel and partly on forest paths into the beautiful Grießeltal valley. Along the mountain stream (cool down on hot days!) you head out of the valley. Before you reach the open meadow, the trail branches off to the right and leads back along the stream to the starting point.
