Spieljoch Geolsalm circular walk (Trail No. 17/17a)
Departing from the mountain station of the Spieljochbahn cable car, this route heads past the Mountain Loft Restaurant and briefly downhill along the wide gravel trail. A large signpost pointing right indicates the turn-off towards the beautiful panoramic trail leading to the Geolsalm. Free from any significant inclines, this gentle trail
heads through Alpine pastures and forest before bringing you to the snack station at 1733 m up. The return journey features a somewhat steeper ascent above the Alpine pasture, crossing meadows and a short rocky section on its way to the Spieljoch summit cross at 1920 m. Simply complete a short descent and head past the playground to make your way back to the mountain station.
