Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing is required for all hikes and routes.
Since 2013, the 82-meter suspension bridge has connected the hamlet of Burgstein with the Brandalm high above Längenfeld. The delicate steel construction offers 150m deep views into the Maurer Rinne. From the start in Unterlängenfeld at the Fischbach Bridge, you follow the steadily rising forest road to the Brandalm. From the plateau, you enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. On the hiking trail towards Burgstein, you can also repeatedly catch a glimpse of the valley. The highlight, however, is crossing the suspension bridge. To ensure that the four-legged friend follows the owner, engineers have covered the floor with an opaque dog path. Now it is only a few minutes' walk to the hamlet of Burgstein. From here, a forest road (old Burgstein road) leads back to Längenfeld. The last section back to the starting point runs along the main road.
Travel comfortably and safely by train. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly with public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination.
