Description

We start at the information office in Kirchberg, cross the village square, walk into Reithergasse and from there over the bridge to arena365 and along the river towards Kitzbühel. In the Klausen district, we turn right towards the Swedish Chapel. There we cross the main road, pass the Schwedenkapelle chapel on the cleared forest road, the cleared winter hiking trail turns right to the Fleckalmbahn cable car and takes us to the district of Klausen and via Wötzing and Tannerbauer back to Kirchberg. If you choose the large Klausenbergrunde trail, it is advisable to bring snowshoes, as this trail is not cleared. This ascent leads along a forest path and on to the Staudachstube inn. The trail takes us downhill to the mountain road to Fleckalm, where we first turn left and then right at the next opportunity to reach the beautifully situated Gauxerbauernhof farm. From here, we continue across meadows and forest paths to Tannerbauer and back to Kirchberg.
