Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow, and sun protection, hat and gloves, is necessary for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a route map, as well as sufficient provisions on routes without refreshment opportunities, is essential.
At the panorama restaurant, keep left and cross the assembly area. The winter hiking trail runs parallel to ski slope no. 6 (ski track), gently sloping down to Kühtaile Alm. The hiking trail crosses the busy ski slope twice; special caution is required here!
Note: Only suitable for experienced winter hikers and accessible with appropriate sturdy footwear. Tip: Use poles as walking aids!
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop and exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi services through the entire valley to your desired destination.
