It can be easy! This also applies to winter hikes - especially if the whole family is along for the ride. Fresh air, gentle inclines, plenty of opportunity to stop for refreshments - if this warms your heart, this hike is perfect for you.
The leisurely hike from Köfels leads directly to the Wurzbergalm on a very gentle incline along a groomed forest road. The walk takes barely an hour and is easy even for younger children. All along the way you can enjoy the view over the Köfels fields to the Ötztal Alps before stopping for refreshments at the Wurzbergalm, where genuine Tyrolean alpine cuisine awaits young and old. If your feet get cold on the way back, you can warm up again at the Edelweiß snack station.
