Description

Description:

Compared to other winter sports, snowshoe hiking can be learned very easily and in the shortest time. Those who want to embark on a wild romantic discovery journey, away from the described snowshoe routes, should best do so with a local mountain and hiking guide who knows the most attractive spots along the way.

Directions:
The snowshoe route runs through open woodland, past raised bogs to the Adlerhorst mountain hut. The return initially also goes through the forest, then over the ski slopes and fields to Grän-Lumberg.Tip:
Enjoy the wonderful view during the hike as well as from the Adlerhorst mountain hut and its homemade specialties!Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that there is also an increased risk of accidents and injuries when snowshoeing. Special attention should be paid to the snow surface and avalanche danger. Suitable clothing, good footwear (hiking boots) and hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.

Equipment:

Contemporary and well-maintained equipment (snowshoes, mountain or hiking boots, poles, warm, functional and waterproof clothing, possibly gaiters) not only provides a significant level of safety but also makes snowshoeing much easier. Sun protection (high protection factor and possibly sunglasses) and enough fluids should not be forgotten.
