betterpark Hintertux

Betterpark Hintertux is one of the highest freestyle-spots in Austria and is considered by many to be the best Snowpark in the Alps. The entrance to the park is at 3,200 metres above sea level at the foot of the majestic Olperer Mountain and is a favourite meeting point for local riders as well as the international scene.

Description

The Snowpark was designed by park builder Wille Kaufmann according to the motto "Best air time for everyone“, so that not only the pros, but also rookies will find obstacles suitable for their individual skill levels. The perfectly formed snow park landscape consists of a steadily changing set-up and is groomed daily by a dedicated team. The Betterpark Hintertux is a dream come true for experienced freestylers, who come from all over the world to practice at Hintertux.

Betterpark Hintertux is open from April to the beginning of June and from mid September to December. In autumn it is the first snowpark to open in Austria and hosts the first snowpark opening in Europe: The Hotzone.tv Park Opening takes place annually on the first weekend in October and is a must for international stars and freestyle-fans from far and wide. A perfect start to the season with free board tests, awesome partys & events and snow-reliable boarding and freestlying on the Hintertux Glacier!
