Acherkogelbahn

Lift closed

This modern eight-man cable car takes visitors from the village of Oetz directly to Hochoetz, where they will find not only spectacular views but also excellent walking and hiking paths such as the "Knappenweg" themed trail. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to a selection of rock climbing pitches and via ferrata fixed-rope climbing routes. Just a few metres from the top of the cable car is a restaurant with a large terrace and outdoor playground. In the nearby region walkers will also find traditional wooden huts which can be reached via trails wide and flat enough for pushchairs and buggies. Families should definintely check out the Rotes Wandl circular hike taking in the a themed children's trail all about local animals.
