Snowshoe Walks with a Guide

Snowshoe walks are a great way to get away from it all and discover the peace and quiet of winter. Both skiers and non-skiers will enjoy the chance to explore areas of terrain far from the pistes and lifts. We recommend hiring a guide to make the most of your snowshoe experience.

As you make your way through the winter landscape, the only sound you can hear is the crunch of snow under foot. Snowshoe walking is the best way to escape the pistes and get back to nature. Many regions in Tirol offer guided snowshoe walks during the winter months, including special taster courses for beginners as well as more challenging adventures up to nearby mountains and huts for advanced and expert hikers. Courses generally also include the option to hire equipment. Last but certainly not least, one of the best things about snowshoeing is that it can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels.
