The Falschlunger family has run a farm in Mutters for generations - and lives closely with the cattle for reasons of space alone.
Located in the heart of the Zillertal Mountains, the Friedlach-Hütte is a traditional hut near the Schösserhof farm. It sleeps up to ten people and gives youngsters the chance to get involved in lots of hands-on activities such as milking the cows and feeding the other animals. Adults will be able to take a look at the in-house schnapps distillery on the farm.
The Biobauernhof Fleckl farm enjoys an idyllic location in the Kitzbühel Alps. At breakfast you can enjoy homemade butter, jam, bread, eggs, milk, cheese and honey. Adults and children are also invited to help out working on the farm or simply stroke the animals.

The Kräuterbauernhof Sagenschneider’s is run by Elisabeth Maaß, a farmer known for her expertise in wild herbs. As well as typical farm produce she also offers homemade creams, teas, schnapps and bath salts made using herbs from the mountains. And, of course, there are plenty of animals for the children to visit.
Homemade bread, cakes and the sweet treat of a Hefezopf make this farm run by Annelies Paulweber a heaven for foodies. The almost 800-year-old farmstead also has a number of cats who love being stroked. Oh, and don’t forget to ask if you can ride on one of the tractors!
