Experience Tirol

What to do in Tirol

Whichever direction you approach Tirol from, the mighty mountain world is omnipresent and offers countless opportunities for outdoor activities.

Did you know that just 13 per cent of Tirol can be populated? The beautiful rest is mountains. Almost 600 peaks rise more than three kilometres (!) into the sky. But Tirol has more to offer than just lofty heights. In addition to the varied outdoor opportunities, our region offers rest and relaxation, unforgettable family experiences and first-class service in both summer and winter. It is also a place of centuries-old traditions and vibrant culture. For example, did you know that there are more brass bands in Tirol than there are villages? At the centre of it all are, of course, the people who make Tirol what it is with a unique culture and genuinely warm welcome.
