Guide MICHELIN: Michelin-starred restaurants in Tyrol

The MICHELIN Guide is a renowned gastronomy guide that recognises restaurants worldwide for their outstanding quality. In 2025, the MICHELIN Guide returned to Austria after a 15-year break. Tyrol is at the top of the state rankings with 20 award-winning restaurants and 24 stars awarded.

One star stands for a restaurant that is worth a stop, two stars characterise outstanding cuisine that justifies a diversion, and three stars are considered the highest distinction for cuisine that is worth a trip. The rating is based on criteria such as quality of ingredients, mastery of preparation techniques, creativity and consistency. A Michelin star therefore stands for excellence, perfection and an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
