"Star and Award-Winning Host in Osttirol": the Gannerhof in Innervillgraten. Located in the Villgratental, a somewhat remote farming-influenced side valley of the East Tyrolean Pustertal, lies a former farmhouse at an altitude of around 1400 meters that more and more gourmet enthusiasts are seeking out. Josef Mühlmann, head chef and owner of the Gannerhof in Innervillgraten, is certain: philosophizing about cooking and the products used pays off visibly. After receiving 4 toques, the Culinary Oscar, and many other awards, Josef Mühlmann can now also call himself a star chef. And that in multiple ways – not only has he been awarded 1 Michelin star, but he has also received one of only 13 green Michelin stars in Austria for sustainability. This is what particularly distinguishes Josef and the Gannerhof: living regionality in product selection and unpretentious cooking, with little fuss but a lot of finesse.
