"SILENT NIGHT! HOLY NIGHT!"

is the world's most sung Christmas song and is celebrating its 200th birthday this year.
Translated into countless languages, it gives hope and comfort to millions of people. The song was written and composed by Joseph Mohr and Franz Xaver Gruber in Salzburg in 1818, but it was singers from Tyrol who brought it out into the world.
