Description

The chapel is located above the Hacklhof in Inneralpbach, built of wood and covered with shingles on the outside.

It was built in 1882 by carpenter Lois as protection against flooding. It is likely still in its original condition.
The walls, decorated with diamond patterns, are adorned with many pictures and votive tablets (e.g., ;aroa jat gejpöfem - written in 1884). In the past, a Stations of the Cross devotion was prayed every day during Lent - today it is only observed on Good Friday.

On the altar, beneath a large cross, there is a Lourdes statue of the Virgin Mary, to the left is an angel, and to the right is St. Nepomuk. According to legend, Nepomuk refused to break the confession secret to the king, and as a consequence, he was thrown from the Charles Bridge in Prague. Therefore, he is also regarded as the patron saint of bridges.

The chapel can be visited at any time.
