Carried back to a different century - surrounded by the sounds of a time gone by.
It's this blend of classical music and these extraordinary premises, which make the serenade concert so special. You hear, see and feel what it was like - in those days. In the beautiful Gothic cloister of the Franciscan monastery - with its 700 m² frescoes created between 1519 and 1526, and oil paintings from the 18th-century - the concerts are held every year in summer. Lovers of classical music have long made them a fixed date on the calendar.

Internationally renowned ensembles and soloists count among the artists. Those playing include the Hagen-Quartet Salzburg, the Munich String Quartet, the Michael-Grube Festival Orchestra Madrid, die Bavaria brass music soloists Munich, the Pertersen-Quartet Leipzig, Les Menestrels Vienna, the Concilium musicum Vienna, the Salzburger Mozart soloists, the Philharmonia-Schrammeln Vienna. Performing as soloists were: Wolfgang Peinlich (concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra), Christian Altenburger (Violin), Edgar Gredler (Solo cellist of the Bavarian Radio Orchestra), Eberhard Kummer (ballad singer) chamber virtuoso Gerd Zapf (trumpet) and others.
