A Leisurely Hike Through Forests and Meadows

Event information

Event period

13. May 2026 - 16. Sept 2026

Description

The herb walks take place at the foot of the Niederkaiser. They cover a diverse spectrum of plants, wild herbs, and trees, as the path leads past sparse and lush meadows with a view of the recently renatured moor, through the forest, and over the grazing pasture. The morning is partly interactive, such as making and tasting a wild herb pot, and there will also be discussions about the healing effects and uses of the most important plants, wild herbs, and trees. Participants will receive a small brochure for further reading and deepening their knowledge.
