Conclusion, the autumn festival of the Tyrolean Festspiele Erl, which will open each season starting in 2024, will have its third edition in 2026. Curator Andreas Schett brings together artists from various music genres for the conclusion in Erl once again this year: classical meets folk music, jazz, pop, world music, and more.
Surprising moments resulting from unexpected musical sequences are intentional. Day two starts with the German-American-Persian musician and composer Malakoff Kowalski. His music operates within a tension field between European piano tradition, jazz, and poetry.
The Viennese acoustic duo Die Strottern returns after their performance at the first conclusion in 2024 and brings their new project Seven Plums to the stage together with the JazzWerkstatt Wien. Always involved in the interplay is the Musicbanda Franui. The “local heroes” once again take on the role of musical hosts together with their creative head Andreas Schett.
