Bread baking in the museum
Baking bread yourself is trendy again!
For years, traditional wood oven bread has been baked at s’Paules & s’Seppls Haus. The day before, a pre-dough is made, and on Thursday morning, it is mixed with rye and wheat flour, salt, and a bit of caraway, then shaped into tasty loaves and rolls.
Visit the museum and watch the Fisser women and men at work – of course, you can buy the wood oven bread starting at around 11:30 a.m.
Note: No baking yourself – this is a demonstration!
