Event Exhibition: Hugo Engl – marking the 100th anniversary of his death (1852–1926)

This commemorative exhibition pays tribute to the life and work of the painter, illustrator and passionate hunter Hugo Engl. The focus is on paintings, drawings and illustrations that showcase his connection to the Alpine landscape, wildlife and rural life. Particular attention is paid to his hunting and nature motifs, as well as his illustrations for works by Ludwig Ganghofer. Many of the exhibits come from the estate of Stams Abbey.
