Sabine Daum introduces herself: “Drawing and painting have accompanied me my whole life. About 30 years ago, I discovered life drawing through a course. The fascination with the body has never left me since, and I draw from a model every Monday. Of course, I have also dealt with other themes in various courses at art academies in Germany and abroad and learned different techniques. In addition to nudes, faces and (mountain) landscapes hold a special appeal for me. I find the various types of experimental printing very interesting as a technique itself, as well as working with pigments and beeswax. I also enjoy combining and using various techniques and materials, depending on what I wish to portray.”
