Description

We start our hike in the Schwarzachtal. Along a wide forest path, we reach the banks of the Gerlosbach. The route takes us alternately through forests and expansive meadows, always along the river. On the way, there is an opportunity to stop at the cozy Jausenstation Astachhof, where you can enjoy a light snack and a drink. Afterwards, we continue our tour through the village of Grasegg, from where we are rewarded with a wonderful view of the Gmünder Stausee. After this impressive panorama, we descend back to our starting point in a short time.

• Duration of the hike: about 4 to 5 hours (including breaks)
• Duration hiking time: 2.5 to 3 hours
• Start time and meeting point: 10:30 a.m., parking lot Schwarzachtal, Gerlos-Gmünd
• Registration: by 6:00 p.m. the day before
