Johannes Silberschneider gained stage experience as a rock 'n' roll singer under the name "Johnny Silver and his Clappers" even before his training at the Max Reinhardt Acting Seminar. He was discovered by Axel Corti, who cast him for the film "To Where and Back." He has portrayed more than 100 roles in film and television; however, Silberschneider repeatedly returns to the theater. (Salzburg Festival, Josefstadt, among others). In front of the camera, he has also acted alongside stars like Penelope Cruz, Ben Kingsley, and John Malkovich.
