Glacier Experience Day: Information Hour at the Stubai Glacier with Optional Hike
Every Monday from 06.07. to 31.08.2026 (in good weather)
Meeting point: 11:00 AM at the Eisgrat Mountain Station (Beachflag INFO HOUR)
During the info hour learn all about the world of glaciers. (Duration approx. 1 hour). The info hour will be in German.
Afterwards, for all hiking enthusiasts:
Hike Eisgrat 2,900 m - Middle Station 2,300 m
On the joint hike with the hiking guide along the glacier trail to the Middle Station Fernau at 2,300 m our guests will gain deep insights into the topic of glaciers (glacier levels, lateral moraines, glacier lakes,…). Duration approx. 1.5 hours.
For those who are very quick on foot, there is also the option:
Hike Middle Station 2,300 m - Valley Station 1,750 m
From the Middle Station, there is the option to descend into the valley on the beautiful trail with the hiking guide or take the gondola down. Duration approx. 1.5 hours.
For the hike, we recommend sturdy footwear, weatherproof clothing, and sun protection. Participation is suitable for young and old, excursion guests, and hikers. Free admission for the info hour and hike (provided: valid lift ticket).
