Event Guided tour "Beaver, Birch, Bather"

From July to September, free guided tours of the special exhibition "Beaver, Birch, Bath Guest. The Habitat Schwarzsee" are regularly offered.

Description

The exhibition at the Kitzbühel Museum presents Schwarzsee as a natural area, recreational space, economic basis, and research object. Historical photographs, plans, and objects tell the story of the lake's tourist development, agriculture, fishing, and peat extraction, as well as its extraordinary biodiversity. At the same time, the exhibition looks to the future and addresses the question of how to maintain the balance between nature conservation and use in the long term.
