Event Kids Bike Camp with Bikeacademy

Our children’s bike camps are definitely already legendary! Since 1999, the bike school for motivated children on two wheels has been around.

Description

While the parents can exert themselves in the impressive mountain world of the Kitzbühel Alps, either by mountain biking or hiking, the kids are in the best hands of trained and experienced coaches. Kids Bike Camp 2026

Over 4 days, we will pedagogically and playfully introduce the youngsters to solid bike riding skills. A lot of fun in the group quickly makes you forget the “torments” of climbing uphill on the singletrail tours in the Kitzbühel Alps – and of course we will also make use of the many lifts in the region. Attention – the camps are not for pure downhillers; in Enduro style, transfers to the lifts or particularly hidden trails must always be pedaled.
A movement-, teaching- and action-packed week concludes with the Grand Prix of the Bikeacademy, a team technique competition. Kids Bike Camp 2026

The juniors must be brought and picked up every day by a guardian. We cannot assume any responsibility for the young mountain bikers outside of course hours.

Requirements for Participation

• Minimum age 7 years, maximum age 12 years
• Good control of the bicycle!
• Basic athletic condition
• Signed liability waiver by a guardian
• Youths older than 12 years can participate in our Youngsters Bike Camps!
• We can accommodate a maximum of 24 participants per week – it is advisable to secure a spot for a Kids Bike Camp early by paying the course fee.
• The camp will take place with a minimum of 8 children participating.

Recommended Bike Equipment for Kids Bike Camp

• Mountain bike (hardtail or full suspension, no downhill bikes or e-bikes!)
  – at least 20 inches and 7 gears, good tires (knobby tires) and perfectly functioning brakes!
  – Rental bikes can be reserved with us (please provide height)
• Helmet
• Sunglasses
• Bike gloves (ideally long-fingered gloves)
• Protectors for knees and elbows (can be borrowed)
• Small backpack
• Closed sports shoes (no sandals!)
• Rain jacket and pants, spare shirt
• Drinking bottle, energy bars
• Sun cream
