Mountain biking brings joy – and a day at the bike park is just as exciting for children. Overcome steps and roots, feel the ground under the tires, and conquer every bump. Even when an obstacle becomes a stopping point, the confident control of the bike remains the goal of the day. Enjoy the thrill of the single trails, refine your cornering technique, and master the bunny hop. Fun and play go hand in hand with every pedal stroke.
Bike Skills and Trails at the Bike Day for Kids
A day program with bike guides and riding technique trainers
Biking is fun, so a bike park day for kids is fun too. Riding down steps makes your heart race, and you've wanted to roll over a few roots on the path for a long time? You want to maintain balance on the bike in every situation? When a step becomes a drop, you want to stay confidently on the bike? You want to have fun and joy while shredding a proper single trail and improve your skills in the process? Learn Bunny Hop and carry speed through corners?
Or you are more advanced, want to make some serious jumps and fly over the big jumps? Ripping through banked turns and working on your style? Then you're in the right place at the Bike Day. We will adjust the groups to the level of the registered kids.
Kids on Bike
The focus of our Bike Days is certainly on the playful learning of riding skills and solidifying bike skills. We make a good mix of trail riding, exercises in the parking lot, and exercises in the terrain. We use the lift to make as many downhill meters as possible and practical, so it will definitely be varied. It's important to us to check the skills and, if necessary, solidify them so that injury-free fun in the bike park is realistic. Safety comes first, but fun is right alongside it.
Schedule for the Bike Days
We meet at 9:00 at the parking lot by Katzenkopf in Leutasch, and after purchasing tickets, we will get started. There will be different performance and age groups, so the amount and difficulty of the exercises and trails will vary. A stop for lunch at the Katzenkopfhütte is planned. The end is every day by 15:00 at the latest.
Parents do not have to stay nearby during the day but are, of course, welcome to take a few laps in the bike park or leisurely hike up Katzenkopf.
Additional Information: Since mountain biking and outdoor sports, similar to skiing, are considered risk sports, we ask all parents to ensure that their children have adequate accident insurance coverage. The registration deadline is one week before the start of the event. At that time, it will also be decided whether the minimum number of participants is reached, the event will take place, and what the grouping looks like.
