Lakes nature hike - on the trail of sustainability

The easy lake culture hike takes you past the Kramsach lake plateau passing Lake Frauen, Lake Buch, Lake Krumm and Lake Reintal. For sporty hikers, the route continues to the picturesque Lake Berglstein, which is hidden in the forest above Kramsach and Breitenbach. Some cultural highlights along the hiking trail are waiting to be discovered.

On this exciting tour, your guide Ossi will tell you interesting facts about climate change and the adaption of our nature:

• Which tree species will adapt well to our climate and thrive in the future?
• Why is a species-rich flower meadow so important?
• Where does the water of the ice-cold Brandenberger Ache come from?

Along the way you will also discover a small moor and the Frauensee natural monument.

Tip: How about a dip in the refreshing waters of the Ache or Lake Reintal?

• Dog: If you have your dog with you, please do not forget to bring a muzzle. In Austria, muzzles are mandatory on public transport. The return trip back to the meeting point will be by bus.
