Long-distance swimming on the Achensee
For the first time, swimming can look forward to an event at Lake Achensee.
The highlight of the long-distance swimming competition is the nine-kilometre crossing of Tyrol's largest lake: from the Achensee North beach (Achenkirch lido) to the SEE pool in the Achensee atoll. The "supreme discipline" across Lake Achensee is also a race for the open water swimming cup in German-speaking countries.
