Mountain mass followed by a morning pint of the Bundesmusikkapelle Ellmau
For the traditional mountain mass, the Bundesmusikkapelle Ellmau provides the musical framework for the mountain service at the Lechnerkapelle (at the top of Ellmi's Zauberwelt).
The service starts at 11 am. Afterwards, the band will march onto the terrace of the Bergkaiser panorama restaurant and, together with the orchestra and alphorn blowers, and will provide a convivial afternoon until 2.30 pm. This ensures a special musical treat.
The Hartkaiserbahn cable car in Ellmau is a convenient way to get to the mountain mass. It's about a 15-minute walk from the top station to the chapel (at the very top of Ellmi's Zauberwelt). The cable car service starts at 9 am.
