Description

Combine history, nature, and action into a unique experience. We meet at the base station of the Marienbergbahn in Biberwier and start our hike along the panorama trail, past the powder cellar and along the historic Knappensteig to Silberleithe – once the path of the mining workers. Along the way, we pass impressive relics of past mining eras, embedded in the idyllic landscape of the Tyrolean Alps. The varied path leads us through forests and over scree fields to the summit of Schachtkopf at 1,690 m altitude. There, we enjoy a breathtaking panorama and immortalize ourselves in the summit book. After a well-deserved break at one of the cozy alpine huts in the area, the highlight of the day awaits us: The descent with the funroller back into the valley. After a briefing, we start the adventurous ride down the path to the valley station Marienberg in Biberwier. Alternatively, you can take the chairlift (additional ticket required) down, and we will all meet again at the valley station to return to the hotel together. Note: The rental fee for the funroller and any costs for the downhill ride are not included in the price. Experience the perfect combination of nature, history, and action on our mountain hike to Schachtkopf followed by a funroller descent.
