A journey through the Tyrolean night sky
With the multi-vision show "Above the Peaks the Stars," new galaxies literally open up for the viewer in the local sky. With the help of incredible images, award-winning astrophotographer Norbert Span takes us on a special journey at the Tux Center this evening. A journey through the night to constellations like Dragon, Giraffe, and Bear Keeper, into distant galaxies and along familiar mountain silhouettes like Hohe Munde, Olperer, or the Three Peaks. After all, the Alps are one of the few places in Central Europe where the starry sky reveals itself in all its glory. At the same time, Norbert Span answers the crucial questions: When does the first star shine after sunset? What does it take to photograph a constellation? And how many little stars are really in the sky? It is a show for everyone for whom a night means much more than just darkness! (Norbert Span)
