Exhibition duration!
The gallery in the center of Hopfgarten i.D. is dedicating its new summer exhibition to a prominent figure in the artistic scene of East Tyrol: At 80 years old, OSR Bernd Hanser remains unwaveringly committed to painting.
The title "In the Open Air and More" references his preferred place to work, the great outdoors, where the impressions of hearing, seeing, and feeling flow into the creative process. In his watercolors, the elements of light, air, and water play a decisive role, while flat colorfulness dominates in his abstract-expressive works in oil and acrylic.
As an art educator, Bernd Hanser is well known in the district; he has certainly opened the path to creativity for countless young people. In addition to his own artistic work, he has always sought to involve and promote other artist colleagues.
For the creative group Defereggental, it is a special joy to welcome the celebrant for the second time in Hopfgarten, as he opened the gallery with his first exhibition in 2009.
