Presentation of historic locomotives and opening of the permanent exhibitions

Description

The club "Eisenbahnfreunde Lienz" (EBFL) warmly invites you to the railway museum in Lienz on Saturday 27th June 2026, at 10.30 a.m.
The occasion is the ceremonial presentation of the restored diesel locomotives of the series 2043 and 2062.
In addition to the locomotive presentation, two new permanent exhibitions will be opened:
“Water. Rail Current. Track” vividly conveys the technical and historical development of the railway and highlights key relationships of the infrastructure.
The exhibition “Passenger Coaches of the Austrian Railways in Model” richly displays the diversity and special character of Austrian passenger coaches in miniature format.

Guests will be provided with refreshments.
