"PURE STUBAI" - Autumn Highlights - Traditional livestock drive Fulpmes
The Almabtrieb in Fulpmes is one of the most atmospheric autumn events in the Stubai Valley. When the animals return from the alpine pastures to the valley, the centre of Fulpmes will be transformed into a colourful celebration zone full of customs, music and culinary delights. The cattle drive is not only a sign of a successful alpine summer, but also a living piece of Tyrolean culture that attracts numerous visitors every year.

Living tradition in the heart of Fulpmes
The Almabtrieb has a long history in Fulpmes. Here, the festival day is lovingly organised by the rural youth and young farmers, accompanied by many volunteers from the village. The cows, artfully decorated with colourful flower wreaths, mirrors and bells, as well as other animals, parade through the centre of Fulpmes – an impressive spectacle that expresses respect and gratitude for nature and rural life.
