On this impressive ranger hike, we enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Venediger region. Together we dive into the sustainably managed outside zone of the Hohe Tauern National Park and discover how closely nature and traditional use are connected here. How are the alpine meadows maintained and managed?
And why is the biodiversity in the used outside zone often significantly higher than in the untouched core zone? Around the Steiner Alpine pastures, we gain fascinating insights into the preservation of a unique cultural landscape - shaped by previous generations and kept alive to this day.
The two alpine huts also invite you to enjoy traditional dishes on their sunny terraces. Refreshment opportunity: Inner & Outer Steineralm.
