The StreetNoiseOrchestra has been bringing life to the streets of Innsbruck and Europe since 2014. As an activist street band, the collective stands for artistic expression for everyone and everywhere, and brings the groove to the streets! The musical menu is a vibrant mix of global folk songs, modern hits, and stylish original compositions. The sets are brimming with Klezmer, Balkan brass music, a splash of funk, Latin American rhythms, and a punky twist. With its interventions, the StreetNoiseOrchestra supports emancipatory cultural and socio-political causes, while celebrating a community brass band style that drives people to dance, aims for the heart, and doesn’t forget the head: danceable, tender, confrontational, and irresistible.
