Landscape, People & Favorite Spots – the different cycling tour (Stories in German)

On this special tour, cycling itself is not the focus – rather, it offers you the opportunity to discover hidden treasures and learn exciting things about the region. The tour is accompanied by Martina from the tourism association, who knows a story about every place, every hamlet, and almost every stone.

The tour starts from the information office in St. Johann in Tirol, leisurely heading towards the St. Johanner airfield. From there, it continues through the hamlets of Reitham and Oberhofen to the traditional company Wieshofermühle. Passing the Bundesheer site, the tour then proceeds to the middle school. Here, the route crosses Valeggio Square and the Redford Promenade, leading past the newly renovated St. Josef Chapel. In this area, there are interesting stories to learn about the partner cities of St. Johann in Tirol, among other things.
And because a truly Tyrolean tour without schnapps is as unimaginable as a Kaiserschmarrn without powdered sugar, there awaits another essential stop with Aggstein Edelbrände. After this break, the path leads us to the agricultural state teaching institute Weitau. Here, you will gain exciting insights into the diverse world of agriculture, sustainability, and education – and discover how much knowledge, passion, and innovation is invested in Tyrol's agriculture. Afterwards, the tour leads back to the starting point.

Equipment: We recommend riding an e-bike. If you're fit, you can certainly keep up with a regular bike. Rentals are not included.
